This Privacy Policy describes how Makingmoreland LLC, doing business as AIDomainForge ("AIDomainForge," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit www.aidomainforge.net, place an order, or use any of our services. By using the website or services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

We are a Texas limited liability company. We do not have a physical storefront open to the public. All services are digital and delivered online.

2. What We Collect and When

When you visit the site (before placing an order):

• Your IP address (used only for rate limiting to prevent abuse)
• Basic analytics data (page views, general location at the country/region level — no individual tracking)

When you place a paid order:

• Your email address
• Your order form responses (business name, story, niche, service area, image preferences, and similar intake information you choose to provide)
• Payment method information — this is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see, receive, or store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details.

What we do not collect (unless you send it to us directly):

• Your legal name, physical address, or phone number
• Date of birth or government-issued ID numbers
• Any sensitive personal information as defined under applicable law

If you email us directly at support@aidomainforge.net, we receive and keep whatever information you include in that message.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for the following purposes:

• To generate your brand name suggestions and brand story (your intake text is sent to Anthropic's AI service for this purpose)
• To check domain name availability (via DNS lookup — your idea text may be used to form search queries)
• To process your payment and deliver your purchased bundle
• To send your order confirmation and delivery email
• To send service-related notices (refund status, material policy changes)
• To prevent abuse through IP rate limiting
• To understand aggregate site usage through analytics (GoatCounter — see Section 4)

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, sell your data to brokers, or serve you targeted ads. We do not currently load any third-party advertising or conversion-tracking pixels on this site. If that changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before any such tag is installed.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We share your information only with the vendors necessary to run the service. Each vendor is used for a specific, limited purpose:

• Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details directly. Stripe's privacy policy governs that data. We receive only a payment confirmation and a Stripe customer reference ID.
• Resend — Transactional email delivery. Resend receives your email address and the content of your order confirmation and delivery emails.
• Anthropic — AI inference. Your order form text (business idea, story inputs, niche selection) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate your brand names, brand story, and page copy. Anthropic's API usage policies govern how they handle API inputs. We do not send your payment information or email address to Anthropic.
• Hostinger — Web hosting and server infrastructure. Hostinger hosts the server that runs this website. Access logs (IP address, pages accessed, timestamps) may be retained by Hostinger per their infrastructure policies.
• GoatCounter — Self-hosted analytics. We run a self-hosted instance of GoatCounter at www.aidomainforge.net/_gc/. GoatCounter collects page-view data without using cookies or tracking individual users. No data is sent to third-party analytics providers.

We do not currently load any third-party advertising or conversion-tracking scripts (such as Google Ads gtag.js or Microsoft UET). If we add such a tag in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before the tag is installed and the relevant vendor will be added to the list above. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with data brokers or any party not listed above, except as required by law.

We may disclose information if required by a valid court order, subpoena, or applicable law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of AIDomainForge, its customers, or the public. Where legally permitted, we will notify you before disclosing.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We keep cookie use to a minimum. Here is what is set, by whom, and why:

First-party functional cookies (set by us):

• Minimal cookies used to preserve form state between pages, if any are needed. These are session cookies; they expire when you close your browser.

Stripe (payment session):

• During checkout, Stripe places a session cookie to manage your payment flow. This cookie is set by Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy and expires at the end of the checkout session. We do not control it.

GoatCounter analytics (self-hosted, cookieless):

• Our self-hosted GoatCounter instance records page views without setting cookies and without tracking individual visitors across sessions or websites.

Third-party advertising or conversion-tracking cookies: None are loaded on this site today. If we add Google Ads conversion tracking, Microsoft Advertising UET, or any similar pixel in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe what is set, by whom, and how to opt out, before the tag is installed.

How to control cookies: You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also use the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — a browser-level signal that indicates you do not want your data sold or shared for advertising. We honor GPC signals to the extent required by applicable law. Note that disabling cookies may affect checkout functionality.

6. AI-Generated Deliverables and Your Data

The text you provide in your order form is the raw material we use to create your deliverables. That text is processed by Anthropic's AI service. A few important points:

• We send only the intake information needed to generate your brand deliverables. We do not send your email address or payment details to Anthropic.
• Your intake text is not used to train future AI models by AIDomainForge. Anthropic's own API data-use policies govern how Anthropic handles API inputs on their infrastructure.
• AI-generated brand names and copy may be probabilistically similar to output generated for other customers. We cannot guarantee uniqueness. This is also covered in our Terms of Service.

If you have concerns about how Anthropic handles API input data, you may review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com before placing an order.

7. Data Retention

• Paid order records (email, order details, delivery records) are kept while your order is active and for 7 years afterward, as required for tax and accounting purposes under applicable law.
• IP addresses used for rate limiting are not retained beyond the session in which they are checked.
• Email correspondence sent to support@aidomainforge.net is retained until the matter is resolved, and for up to 2 years thereafter.
• Stripe records are retained per Stripe's own retention policies. We have no control over Stripe's data retention.
• GoatCounter analytics are retained in aggregate, anonymized form indefinitely. No individual-visitor records are stored.

When we no longer need your data, we delete or anonymize it. We do not archive personal information for speculative future use.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your information, including:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Administrative server access is restricted to authorized operators and protected by authentication controls
• Payment card data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers — Stripe handles this entirely
• The database containing order information is not exposed to the public internet

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@aidomainforge.net.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13 years old (under 16 in the EU and UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under those ages. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly. Contact us at support@aidomainforge.net if you believe we have inadvertently done so.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights over your personal information. We honor the following:

For EU and UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR):

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion ("right to be forgotten"): Ask us to delete your data. We will do so unless we are required to retain it by law (for example, 7-year tax record requirement).
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
• Restriction: Ask us to restrict processing while a dispute is resolved.
• Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

Our lawful basis for processing your order data is contract performance. Our lawful basis for self-hosted analytics (GoatCounter) is legitimate interest (privacy-preserving, cookieless). We do not currently load any third-party conversion-tracking cookies. If we add one in the future, the relevant lawful basis and opt-out mechanism will be added to this section before the tag is installed. We do not rely on consent for order processing.

For California residents (CCPA / CPRA):

• Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect about you.
• Delete: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to exceptions.
• Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of sale or sharing: We do not sell your personal information. We do not currently load any cross-context behavioral advertising or conversion-tracking tags. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser. If we add such a tag in the future, this section will be updated to describe the opt-out path before the tag is installed.
• Non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents may submit requests using any of the contact methods in Section 13. We will respond within 45 days. We may request verification of identity before processing your request.

For Texas residents (TX HB 4 / TX DPSA):

• Texas residents have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data.
• We do not sell personal data. We do not currently run any conversion-tracking or targeted-advertising tags on this site. If we add one in the future, this section will be updated to describe how to opt out (typically by emailing support@aidomainforge.net with the subject line "TX DPSA Opt Out") before the tag is installed.
• To exercise access, correction, deletion, or portability rights, contact us at support@aidomainforge.net. We will respond within 45 days. We may extend by an additional 45 days if reasonably necessary, with notice.
• If you believe we have not responded appropriately to your request, you may appeal by sending a follow-up to the same address with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will respond to the appeal within 60 days.

To exercise any of the rights above, email support@aidomainforge.net with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days for GDPR requests and within 45 days for CCPA/TX DPSA requests. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

11. International Visitors and Data Transfers

AIDomainForge is operated from Texas, USA. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

By using our services, you acknowledge this transfer. If you are an EU or UK resident, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms where required. Each vendor listed in Section 4 is responsible for its own data transfer compliance mechanisms — we encourage you to review their respective policies if this is a concern.

12. Links to Third-Party Sites

Our website and delivered pages may contain links to third-party websites (for example, domain registrar links, hosting provider guides). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Email paying customers whose data may be affected by the change

Your continued use of the website or services after an updated policy is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you disagree with a change, you may request deletion of your data per Section 10.

14. Relationship to Terms of Service

This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service on a service-related contractual matter, the Terms of Service control.
